Regular Season Win Total Buffalo Bills

trent_edwards_buffalo_billsAs many NFL bettingBuffalo Bill handicappers will tell you, there is no safer wager in the NFL than when it comes to going against the s. Betting on NFL teams such as the Bills is mainly done when wagering on a point spread or total. Since the start of the decade, no team has had a rougher ride than the Bills. We see this season being no different than all the others, as the Bills did little to improve their chances at winning.

Firstly, we see the Bills winning maybe five games this year. The reason for our low prediction is because of two issues the Bills have. No true number one quarterback and too many running backs but not enough football to go around.

In this past June’s draft, disgruntled Bills fans believed that this may finally be the year where the working man’s team drafts a stud quarterback not seen since Jim Kelly. Instead, the Bills curse took effect, and the team drafted to the only strong suit, running back. They took the fastest man in the draft in the top 10 at CJ Spiller. Although this move was fantastic and made Marshawn Lynch expendable, it made many fans scratch their heads.

As we noted above, the Bills weakest position is at pivot. Right now, the starting quarterback role is being battled over by Trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brian Brohm. This past June’s draft however, had three of the best quarterbacks not seen in a draft in quite some time, still available to the Bills at the number nine position. Many Bills fans can only dream of how Colt McCoy, Tim Tebow or Jimmy Clausen would have done this year as a for sure starter in Buffalo.

Nevertheless, we expect the Bills to be at the bottom of the league once again. Perhaps next year they will actually get a quarterback who is a true number one.
